“Rooster” Z BAR CHEX KING

“Rooster” is a 5 year old AQHA gelding standing a 15.1hh, that we have owned since a weanling. “Rooster” is the true definition of an all-around horse, with a very solid handle. We have used “Rooster” on the ranch for all aspects, including checking pastures, riding feedlot pens, cattle drives, branding, and doctoring and trailer loading in the pastures. However, he is no stranger to arena riding. He can work the mechanical flag, hands down and has been started out of the roping box on the head side. “Rooster” has a quiet, laid-back personality, but a motor under the hood when asked for. He is a smooth mover and really reads your seat. This past year, he was one of our main turn back horses at the cutting and cow-horse shows. Getting hauled with the show string, he is very familiar with the most popular facilities in Canada. “Rooster” hauls very well, stands tied, and has excellent box stall manners, keeping it neat and tidy. He is a first choice when it comes to needing solid minded, gentle horse for an inexperienced rider. Rooster has been on mountain trips varying from week long pack outs to day rides. He crossed rivers and bogs without hesitate and will climb whatever slope or mountain you point him at. Snaffle, correction, spade bit with romal reins, or just the halter will do. “Rooster” is truly versatile, and would fit an all around family horse, ranch horse, team roping horse, even a ranch horse versatility or entry level reined cowhorse!
