Sugar is a horse the whole family can love and ride. She can be rode day after day or have months off and is still the same horse. She’s a horse you can feel safe to put a beginner on to go for a trail ride or you can cinch her up tight and go one man doctor on. Sugar has been my main mount for the last 2 years. She’s done all aspects of ranch/feedlot work such as calved heifers/cows, pulled calf sleds, trailer loaded bulls, roped and treated calves, doctored yearlings, weaned/ sorted pairs, worked in the feedlot, dragged calves to the branding pot, opened/closed thousands of gates, been to the mountains trail riding, has had a whip cracked off of her and has been started on the heel side. She has been around equipment, dogs, quads, side by sides, she takes everything in stride! Sugar is made to last! Coming from the W6 ranch up in Hudson’s hope BC, she has good solid feet, was lightly started as a three year old and was hardly was rode until I got her a few years ago.
