SRQ Shiners Dual Pep “Pearl”

“Pearl” is a truly exceptional all-around mare and my absolute go-to horse. I’ve owned her for over two years, and she has consistently proven herself to be safe, kind, talented, and incredibly versatile — a true confidence builder for riders of any level.
She is broke with plenty of buttons: neck reins, works beautifully off seat and leg, has a great stop, nice spin, and a soft, willing feel throughout. Pearl is light, responsive, and honest — she does exactly what you ask, happily gives more when asked, and will just as willingly dial it back for less experienced riders.
Pearl is genuinely beginner-safe yet talented enough to continue progressing with an advanced rider. She is easy-going, not mare-ish, good with time off, and has excellent manners. She is good to catch, tie, trim, bathe, and load.
She is a beautiful mover with experience in all aspects of ranch work, including gathering, pairing out, sorting, branding, pasture roping, and doctoring. She has been to town for local shows and clinics, has done Working Equitation (Level 2), attended cow horse clinics, trail rides confidently alone or in groups, rides bareback and bridleless, and has a start in liberty.
Pearl would excel as a fun, reliable all-around partner or as a competitive prospect for entry-level disciplines such as ranch riding, cow horse, working equitation, western dressage, or even some English classes. On top of that she will be started on the heel side and breakaway roping by the time of sale.

Despite her color, Pearl sees and hears and does NOT sunburn — a common concern with perlinos that simply does not apply to her.
She has no vices, requires no maintenance, and is up to date on dental, farrier, and vaccinations.

Pearl is the kind that’s hard to replace: safe, versatile, talented, and genuinely kind. She’s ready to take her next rider as far as they want to go — whether that’s enjoying a wonderful horse every day, learning, or competing.
