Here is a flashy, athletic, good minded and well started young gelding.
Sargent is a 2023 grade draft cross paint gelding, standing 15.2 hands. He is leggy, with good bone, feet and build.
With his big floaty stride, flashy looks and kind willing mind, this gelding could go many directions, from the ranch/trail/rope pen, to even a good looking English prospect.
Sargent is well started under saddle. He will have six months of training by sale day.
He is riding around well, with all the buttons well started. He rides through the seat and legs well, has a good stop, side passes, spins, picks his leads up, and rides around soft.
He has had both arena work and outside miles. His outside miles have been trail riding, riding through bush, up and down big hills, checking and moving cows around.
He is good with tarps/flags/ropes/other obstacles and dragging a sled.
He’s been hauled and handles himself well in new environments
Sargent is safe on the ground. He is easy to catch, ties/ground ties, loads/unloads, is easy to tack up, lunges and is good with his feet.
He lives outside 24/7 in the herd with no issues. He is sound, with no injuries, blemishes or scars. He has no quirks or funny business.
He is up to date on farrier, deworming, teeth, vaccines and body work, as well as a current coggins.
