Rosie & Sally

Rosie & Sally are 7 year old Percheron Quarter horse mares, they are half sisters. They stand 16 hands, Rosie weighs roughly 1300 pounds and Sally weighs roughly 1400 pounds. They come from a blue roan Percheron Stud. And Dapple grey Quarter horse mares. Both mares have raised colts and they throw colour.
Rosie and Sally are broke to ride and drive.
Rosie can be drove left or right, she has been hooked with multiple horses. With or without blinders. She has been used in multiple public events, including giving wagon rides on candy cane lane. Rosie is very quiet horse with an excellent mind / temperament. Rosie is good with time off, she doesn’t need to be rode constantly, she’s the horse you can kick out to pasture for the winter or summer and jump on bareback and a halter the moment you bring her in. She is suitable for all levels of riders / drivers. She’s worked colts and halter broke horses. She neck reins, side passes and swings into a fence/ mounting blocks to make it easy for anyone to swing a leg over. She’s easy to catch. Rosie stands ties and loads. She’s great with her feet.
Sally works well in harness, she pulls nice and stops when asked, she stands to be hooked up or stands whenever asked. She’s more horse than Rosie is, needing an intermediate driver. She’s only been drove on the right, she’s seen wagons and sleighs. She’s worked with a few different horses, and done well with each of them. Sally needs more of a consistent routine than her sister does, she’s good with her feet, She’s got a good mind, she does have more of a “mare attitude” both Rosie and Sally are up to date on farrier and dentistry, they will come with a fresh set of shoes for the sale in the spring.
