“TJ” – RNR Changing Destiny

This 9 year old, 15.3HH gelding will get you noticed everywhere you go. TJ is flashy and has claimed the nickname “McDreamy”. He is the kind of horse you dream of owning. In addition to good looks, he is easy to be around. He stands quietly at the trailer, loads and hauls well, stands for the farrier, and has a calm demeanor. He is an honest horse and can be kicked out for an extended period of time and you hop back on feeling like you never walked away from him.

When riding outside he is good footed in a variety of terrain and travels out on a loose rein. You can safely ride him bareback in a halter and he is unfazed by tractors, skidoos, wildlife, etc. When riding inside you will find him comfortable in the arena and well trained with many buttons for the western discipline. We have used him steady and and for a variety of things. He has worked the flag, been a drill team horse, roped calves in branding pen and doctored in the pasture, done liberty work, completed a cowgirl challenge course, been ridden by kids, worked at the auction mart to bring cattle up, rode on trail rides, and has taken care of green riders who need a horse. TJ has been used as a head horse in our family and has been roped on by higher and low numbered headers. In the roping arena he has seen a lot of practice steers, consistent dummy roping and competed in team roping jackpots. He was patterned on the barrels as a younger horse and has competed in barrel racing jackpots. He has put in some hard days of work at our ranch, but I’d say his heart actually lies in the fun stuff rather than as work horse.

TJ is the kind of horse you could ride all day, have fun, and do anything on. If you ask him, he will try it. He loves attention and enjoys being pampered. TJ is that special horse that will stand all day long while your little girl braids his mane and tail. He could be that horse that is your best friend for life.
