Pokey

Pokey is an all around kids pony. Nothing seems to faze him, he’s good with tarps, flags, ropes being tossed at him, kids jumping over him, crawling underneath him, and even a cap gun fired beside him. Kids can just walk out and catch him and lead him around without a halter, good for being saddled and can stand tied for hours without an issue. Hops in and out of a trailer no problem.
He can be ridden saddled or bare back, easy to bridle and mount. Good walk, trot, lope, and stop. Done barrels, ditch ridding, pasture ridding, riding over obstacles (tarps, logs, plywood, etc.) and even some calf herding/sorting. Can be led into water and he even likes swimming. He’s currently being started with swinging a rope on him and dragging logs around.
He has mostly been ridden independently but he’s good for leading kids around on too. Is being worked with almost daily up to sale day.
He’s never been sick or foundered. Middle of pecking order, will be UTD on farrier, deworming and vacations.
