Well seasoned, been there done that Rope horse. This gelding is looking for a new partner to carry and teach to rope and ride. He’s an eye-catching big paint, 22yrs of age, with a passion to chase and turn steers. I bought him four years ago for my daughter to learn the skills of roping (heading and breakaway). He is sound, his teeth were done last year, feet and legs are in great shape. No special feed program or maintenance has been done for him. Gus has been used for trail riding, been a lesson horse for all ages of riders, run gymkhana events, fly’s flags in Grande Entries, has competed at JR and SR high school Rodeos, JR rodeos and open jackpot rodeos. His events that he excels in are Team Roping, Breakaway Roping and Goat Tying. He’s safe, reliable, and quiet in and out of the arena. His love is for roping and will give you a shot every time!
