Gator

“Gator” is a 3-year-old Percheron paint cross gelding standing 15.2 hands and shaping up to a well-rounded, all-around gelding. Built solid, straight legs, great footed and blemish free! He’s easy to catch, good to saddle and quiet on the ground. Stands tied, trailer loads, enjoys a bath and is good with his feet. We purchased him as a weanling and have consistently handled him. “Gator” was lightly started last spring and officially on the payroll last fall. “Gators” fall consisted of pair gathers and roundups, his first trip to the mountains, crossing rivers and climbing mountains. He has had lots of arena riding time, working on the finesse. “Gator” has great collection and neck reins. His winter has been spent tracking and roping the heelomatic, to Skijoring and pen checking feedlot pens. Gator will continue to be used at the ranch for calving season. Gator already has a great handle and loads of experience under his belt for a prospect. We are proud to offer him as he will make a great ranch gelding, and all-around pleasure horse.
