Regina (Re-gee-na)

Although she was named after one of the ‘Mean Girls’, Regina has proven to be the sweetest sorrrel mare, and a true lesson horse master. This 13 year old, 14.3 hh, APHA horse does not have a mare-ish bone in her body. She is sweet, sensitive, eager to please, and ready to take you anywhere you like.

Regina has been used in a lesson program for the last 12 months. She loves kids, attention, and is currently being used in lead line and intermediate Western and English horseback riding lessons. Regina is lead line, confident beginner, and intermediate rider safe. (She can become unsure if her rider is nervous.) Regina happily rides Western and English. She’s done 4H, gymkhana, been hauled to barrel jackpots, had a rope swung off her, moved cows, loves the outdoor obstacle course, and is jumping cross rails. Regina has been ridden inside, outside, in the hills, and in the mountains. She can be looky when riding out, but no spook or buck. She is currently being ridden by an onsite trainer.

Regina has lived in a large pasture, in a herd, with cows, in an outdoor pen, and in an indoor box stall. Bottom to middle of the pecking order. Easy keeper. Same horse with time off. Regina would stand tied all day. She loads, trailers, bathes, and is good for the farrier. Regina would do best with her own person to love and dote on her.

Regina is up to date on vaccines, deworming, farrier, dental, chiro, and is currently shod. Currently taking Previcox as prescribed by a veterinarian, for a slip on the ice, in January.
