Chavez

Chavez has been our go to saddle horse, born and raised on our ranch, Chavez quickly became the guy that is caught first to “get the job done”. He was lightly started as a 2 year old, rode off and on as a 3 year old, and consistently rode as a 4 year old. He has seen arena work, halter breaking, flagging and starting a pile of colts, roped the lead steer in the head box as well as some slower cattle. Has an excellent stop and really carries himself collected and correct in the bridle. He has been extensively used for ranch work, sorting, doctoring, gathers, been to both heel/drag and head and heel brandings, roped yearlings, cows and bulls in the pasture and is big and strong enough to pull and hold a rope well. He has won me money in ranch rodeos and ranch ropings, and has seen the lights of the big city. He has a Gentle, easygoing personality that gets along with just about anyone. Been to the mountains, crosses rivers and bog, big and pretty, wears a size 1 shoe, is 16.1 hands and around 1350 Lbs.
