Breezy

Breezy is a 17-year-old mare looking for her next family and a job to do. She has been a trusted part of our program for the past 13 years and is a safe, seasoned mare with the kind of experience you can’t put a price on.

She is suitable for riders of all ages but does best with a confident rider. Breezy has only ever been owned and ridden by women and is easy to handle, kind, and straightforward. She is easy to catch — a cookie will catch her every time — throw a halter on and go. She rides off well, can sit for months without being ridden, and you can hop on and lope circles without a warm-up.

Breezy is as versatile as they come. She has been used to drag calves at branding time, has been headed and heeled on in the practice pen, competed in gymkhanas, and is comfortable carrying flags. She is dog broke, steady, honest, and takes care of her rider, whether you’re in the arena or out on the ranch.

In the herd, Breezy is mid pecking order and gets along well with other horses.

She does get a cough if fed dusty hay, which is easily managed with good-quality feed.

Breezy loads easily and jumps into the trailer every time. She would be a great fit for a family looking for a dependable, ranch-solid mare that everyone can enjoy and rely on.
