Meet Skooter
If you’re looking for a horse that makes every ride enjoyable, he’s right here. This is the kind of horse you look forward to saddling up every day—willing, attentive, and eager to please.

At just 5 years old, Skooter has a long, useful life ahead of him.
    •    Up to date on farrier work, vaccinations, deworming, and teeth
    •    Straight legs and feet, completely sound
    •    Excellent for the farrier, trimming or shoeing
    •    Athletic, sure-footed, and an easy mover
Skooter has a solid foundation with a variety of ranch experience, including:
    •    Traveling many miles checking cows
    •    Doctoring calves and cows
    •    Roped some calves at brandings
    •    Pen roping and lots of time spent roping the sled
    •    Spent some time in the feedlot when the footing was good.
• I’ve started him on the heel side. Coming along very well. He’s very confident. Scores well and is very relaxed in the box. I will be continuing heeling on him till sale day so won’t have videos of that till closer to sale day.

He is very comfortable around dogs, quads, feed trucks, and other ranch equipment. I’ve used him quite a bit sorting in a gate, where he excels—hes bred to do it which makes the job simple and enjoyable.

With his pedigree, speed, and good stop, he has the ability to go in many directions. I see him really shining as a heel or breakaway horse, he has what it takes.

He is currently being ridden daily in the arena and will continue over the next month or two.
