All Day Grey

“Grey” is a grade 9 year old gelding. This is a solid “jack of all trades” gelding. Mountains, pasture, feedlot and neighbourhood trail rides Grey has put his best foot forward in all directions.

Grey has put in his time in both the pasture and feedlot. And his name was duly earned. Long circles are his specialty, miles seem to fly by with an easy ground covering trot. There’s no bottom to this guy and you’ll never be short of horse power when the day goes long and the miles stack up.

In the feedlot grey can only described as a steady eddy. If it’s minus 30 or the mud is belly deep feel confident that Grey won’t let you down or go running to HR. Big equipment flying by or a feed truck driver who loves his air horn won’t get Grey in a tizzy and you can focus on the job.

The mountains holds a special place for Grey. He’s seen the sights, climbed to the top of lots of scenic spots in Yaha, crossed deep cold rivers, and happily rides front or back of a group. Grey is very sure footed and never slipped or stumbled in all our adventures.

This is an excellent gelding that will be very enjoyable no matter if you’re looking for a great new ranch employee or a recreational partner. Even better he can do both so if you need to ranch during the week then explore the mountains or trails on the weekends this is the guy for you!
